Richard Linklater (Dazed and Confused, Before Sunrise) brute 12 på å lage sin nest film, Boyhood.

 The star of Boyhood, Ellar Coltrane, was seven years old when filming started, and Linklater returned to the story every year for a few days of shooting to construct a movie about a boy growing from a first-grader to an adult and his changing relationship with his parents.
